Two Senior High School (SHS) students from the Philippines have been invited to join a study tour in Vienna, Austria after winning a virtual education exhibition.

Salina M. Konno and Jhames Bernard M. Dingle, both Grade 12 students of Francisco E. Barzaga Integrated High School in Dasmariñas, Cavite will be going to Austria for a study tour of the International Atomic Energy Agency headquarters after they won in the virtual Nuclear Science and Technology Education Exhibition 2023.

Titled “Doing the Initiatives: Making Plastic Useful not Awful,” the video presentation presented by the students was about the use of nuclear technology in solving plastic pollution. For Dingle, the said initiative is important because it spreads awareness about the effects of plastic pollution on the life of every organism in the world.
