Four months after losing a world title fight, Regie “The Filipino Phenom” Suganob will be tested once again as he will take on hard-hitting Venezuelan fighter Ronald Chacon in the main event of “Kumong Bol-anon XII on Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Bohol Wisdom Gymnasium in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
Boholano boxer Regie Suganob and Ronald Chacon of Venezuela flex their muscles while PMI Boho Boxing Promotions head Floreizyl Podot holds a WBO belt during the weigh-in for the “Kumong Bol-anon XII” boxing card slated on Saturday, Nov. 4, at the Bohol Wisdom Gymnasium in Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
“I don't feel any pressure at all. In fact, I'm excited because I want to face high-caliber opponents that are ranked because that's how your skills will be tested as a boxer,” said Suganob. “This is a risky fight for Regie. If you give him an easier fight after that loss in South Africa, there is still some risk involved so we might as well go for this kind of a fight which we know is risky but with a bigger impact,” said Podot.
