Gotianun-led conglomerate Filinvest Development Corp. (FDC) has established a technical-vocational scholarship facility with the Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan in a bid to bridge the education gap among marginalized senior high school (SHS) students.
In a statement, FDC said it had partnered with Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan to establish the Andrew L. Gotianun Sr. Center for Integrated Technologies in Cagayan de Oro City.
The ALGCIT will address the educational needs of marginalized students through scholarships, financial aid, and mentorship programs. The program offers specializations in machining technology, instrumentation technology, and mechatronics technology.
