Madeline Schizas is a 22-year-old senior at McMaster University in Ontario, Canada, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Environment & Society degree. She also happens to be an OlympicBetween training and competition, Schizas was a bit preoccupied and mixed up her assignment due date for sociology class. She thought her work was due on Sunday, but it was actually due on Friday."Hi Prof. I am a student in your Sociology 2FF3 course and am wondering if I could get a short extension on this week's reflection. I was competing in the Olympic Games yesterday and thought the reflection was due on Sunday, not Friday," she wrote.women's individual figure skating event Team Canada got a solid showing in the first day of the figure skating team event. After the rhythm dance, the pairs short program, and the women’s short program, the Canadians are in fifth place with 19 points. The U.S. currently leads with 25 points, thanks to stellar performances by The team event continues Saturday with the men's short program. The top five countries will advance to the finals and the bottom five nations will be dropped.
