JOHOR BARU: Some 50 Johor PKR women’s wing members have announced that they are leaving the party with immediate effect.
She said they had lost confidence and trust in the party's leadership.
“The excuse has no basis and is not fair. The same action has also been taken against former Johor PKR women’s chief Rahamizon Abdul Ghani and former deputy chief Tan Poh Lai,” she said during a press conference at Skudai here on Sunday . She also said that members who left the party would be joining Penggerak Komuniti Negara, which is a non-government organisation, founded by former PKR leader Zuraida Kamarudin.
The 18 PKR divisions were Tenggara, Mersing, Sembrong, Johor Baru, Pasir Gudang, Pulai, Muar, Pontian, Tanjung Piai, Sri Gading, Sekijang, Simpang Renggam, Batu Pahat, Ayer Hitam, Ledang, Pagoh, Labis and Tebrau.
