I opened the pages looking for a name that resonated with maleness. Today Petra called to me. I immediately thought of pouty lips. Petra, means little rock. Hissing brakes preceded the door caterwauling open. Red Ball sneakered, a grinning Petra good morninged the driver.“The wheels on the bus go round and round,” she sang, plopping herself beside a fellow rider.Wednesdays are super-fun and challenging because paring down to 50 words is really challenging. Petra turned out to be more resilient than pouty. What a sweet little rock. Or will she be more like a pebble in her teacher’s shoe.
