Salt Bae, whose real name is Nusret Gokce, is a Turkish chef who became the center of controversy after he made his way onto the field and appeared to accost Lionel Messi and Argentine players after their win over France. The internet chef, who has 49.8 million followers on Instagram, took photos with players and even got his hands on the FIFA World Cup Trophy.Only"very select" people are permitted to handle the trophy, according to FIFA."Following a review, FIFA has been establishing how individuals gained undue access to the pitch after the closing ceremony at Lusail stadium on 18 December," a FIFA spokesperson said.
