The sandy promenade in Sandy, Utah, is filled with over 3,000 flags in a moving tribute to those who lost their lives in the September 11 terrorist attacks.
Over 3,000 flags were displayed on the Sandy Promenade in memory of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
KUTV spoke with attendees, including Troy Hansen, who shared his memory of finding out what happened while he was at work.He described the Healing Field as a place of peace and respect, helping him to process the events of that day. Their owner, Linda Crismer, shared that she and her husband bring the dogs to places like these to honor the significance of the day.
