Here's how to watch the men's basketball World Cup group stage opener against Greece from the Philippines.

The contest will be lacking some star power on the Greece side, as NBA superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo will not play in the tournament to prepare for the regular season.

The United States, coached by Golden State’s Steve Kerr, featuring a collection of up-and-coming talent, has gone unbeaten in their exhibition schedule. The roster features Jalen Brunson, Anthony Edwards, Austin Reaves Tyrese Haliburton, and Josh Hart at guard, and Brandon Ingram, Jaren Jackson Jr., Cam Johnson, Bobby Portis, Mikal Bridges, Paolo Banchero and Walker Kessler in the frontcourt.

The US and Greece are competing in Group C in the group stage, joined alongside by New Zealand and Jordan. The top two finishers in that group will advance to the knockout stage of the tournament. The United States is looking to capture its first FIBA World Cup title since 2014, as Spain won the most recent iteration in 2019.If you purchase a product or register for an account through one of the links on our site, we may receive compensation.
