Investigators said the man was on a sidewalk at a bus stop, waiting for the Lynx bus to arrive. As the bus traveled north on Dividend Drive, approaching Lake Ellenor Drive, the driver did not see the man waiting and drove past him, according to FHP.
Investigators said that the right front of the bus struck the man and that the driver kept traveling eastbound on Lake Ellenor Drive, leaving the area. According to FHP, investigators determined that the Lynx driver was not aware that his bus struck a pedestrian; he has been cooperating with investigators after he was made aware of the circumstances, they said.The Lynx driver, 61, is an Orlando resident.
