Previous Fever players selected to play in the Olympics include Tamika Catchings, Natalie Achonwa, Tully Bevilaqua and Kara Wolters. Catchings has the most Olympic appearances, making the Team USA roster in 2004, 2008, 2012 and 2016. Prior to joining the Fever, Wallace played college hoops at Baylor before returning to Australia to play in the National Women's Basketball League. She was drafted to the WNBA in 2018 by the Atlanta Dream, but did not suit up for the Dream until the 2022 season. The Dream traded Wallace to the Fever prior to the 2023 season.
