With only ten more weekends to go until Christmas , the countdown has officially begun. The Notts Festive Gift and Food Show will be taking place on Saturday, October 26 and Sunday, October 27, to help people get a head start on their Christmas shopping.

The annual event will be taking place at the Newark Showground, where there will be almost 200 stalls selling everything you might need. There will be local artisans and boutique vendors, as well as handmade decorations, gift ideas and most importantly some tasty food and drinks. There will be exclusive show discounts and special offers for visitors of the event, which means you can start crossing off some of your Christmas shopping list whilst staying within budget. Whether you are keen to find the perfect present for a loved one or some new Christmas decor for your home, there will be all sorts available on the day.

Show director, Matt Upson, said: "We’re really looking forward to this year’s Notts Festive Gift and Food Show. The show features almost 200 exhibitors selling a huge range of Christmas gift ideas, decorations and festive food to really get everyone in the Christmas spirit. “We’re really excited to make this Christmas the best ever and the Notts Festive Gift and Food Show will really help to kick start the festive season.” The show will run from 9.30am to 4pm both days, and there will also be free parking available on the site.
