‘Fentanyl Steals Your Friends’: Grief guides a Hays County family’s fight against fentanyl

Noah died of fentanyl poisoning in the early hours of Aug. 21 amid a string of student deaths that hit the Hays Consolidated Independent School District last summer.Forever 15 Project Several of the stories the website showcases are from families Rodriguez met at a DEA convention, and she said other families approached her at events where she has spoken. The ones who haven’t done so already will share their grief when they’re ready, she said.
