FEMA has opened mobile disaster recovery centers in four Georgia counties to aid Hurricane Helene survivors in applying for federal assistance.

“Mobile Disaster Recovery Centers are public facilities or mobile offices established and managed by FEMA. At these locations, individuals can access information about federal, state, and local disaster assistance programs.
The mobile disaster recovery center is set up at the Pierce County Extension Office/USDA on 705 College Ave in Blackshear, GA 31516. The center will be open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will close early on Tuesday, Nov. 12 at 5:30 p.m., but will resume regular operations after that date.
