In response to severe storms, tornadoes, flooding, and straight-line winds, FEMA is opening Disaster Recovery Centers in Harris, Liberty, and Trinity counties.

Residents from the following counties can visit any open center: Calhoun, Eastland, Guadalupe, Hardin, Harris, Jasper, Jones, Lamar, Liberty, Montgomery, Polk, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, and Waller. The centers will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Residents can find the nearest center by visitingCall the FEMA helpline at 800-621-3362 between 6 a.m. and 10 p.m. Assistance is available in most languages.
