Felicity Huffman getting 14 days in prison after a plea deal may be a troubling omen for Lori Loughlin
in the wake of Huffman’s sentence, which amounted to 14 days in prison, a $30,000 fine, one-year supervised release, and 250 hours of community service. All that was in light of Huffman’s plea deal after offering $15,000 bribe to alter her daughter’s S.A.T. score; Loughlin and Giannulli, meanwhile, pleaded not guilty, and are accused of plunking down $500,000 to have their daughters,, falsely listed among the U.S.C. crew team.
“Lori is aware of Felicity’s sentence, and is processing what that means for her,” the anonymous source told. “Her only move now is to take this to court and to prove that she is not guilty of what she’s charged with.” The source also suggested Loughlin “didn’t understand the entire nature of the charges against her, and she wasn’t even sure if or how she had broken the law.
The inside-Hollywood nature of Loughlin’s case has proven fodder for speculation and sources on all sides. Another prior report to suggested Loughlin wanted to take an initial plea deal, but Mossimo pressed that “it would ruin both of their careers. . . . He is expecting to be fully exonerated and will refuse any other plea-deal offers.”source nonetheless concluded that Loughlin is prepared for the possibility of a longer jail sentence. “Lori is a smart woman; she understands that,” they concluded. “She’s scared and upset, but she’s resolved to be strong and to fight this.
