The Australian swim team is hoping to dominate at the Paris Olympics, and new Speedo swimsuits might just give them the edge.

Already the golden girl of Australian swimming, Emma McKeon has vowed to bring a more ruthless approach to her Paris preparations, knowing it will be necessary to keep performing at the level that cemented her place in Olympic folklore.

In Brisbane for the release of the new Speedo swim kit for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, the reigning Young Australian of the Year was confident she would be in a position to compete in Paris. “I’m working really hard, and I’m happy with how it’s all going at the moment. I’ve been excited for the Paris Olympics since the Tokyo Olympics, so I’m excited it’s already an Olympic year.”Speedo’s latest Olympic line of swimsuits is the brainchild of the company’s all-female design team, working in collaboration with Lamoral Space Tech.

Australia’s chef de mission, Anna Meares, watched on as the nation’s swimming, water polo, diving and surfing prospects embraced the swimwear that she believed would translate to profound results in Paris.
