'I'm finally being recognised for the fashion icon I am.'
fashionThe 26-year-old Glasgow-born artist recently stepped into the London offices of online fashion retailer ASOS to direct a photoshoot and model some pieces himself.
A video clip shows the Forget Me singer choosing outfits from a rack for the models to wear before"taking them through his process", offering them advice and inspiration for how to pose. He told one model to pose"like you're on a Hinge date and she hasn't arrived", while he asked another to smile as"she's a happy gal, she's just won a tax rebate."
In an interview for the brand, Lewis described himself as"someone who takes risks with their fashion choices.""I want the clothes to jump off the body and off the page - sometimes I had to jump in front of the camera, let the models see a real master at work and show them what's what." He ended the interview with a cheeky swipe at online fashion rival Boohoo, saying:"Boohoo, yeah you will be f****** crying."
