FedEx driver Kimani Joehon Marshall is facing animal cruelty charges after he allegedly stole a French Bulldog while making deliveries on his route and placed it in his truck, where it later died due to the heat.
The outlet reported that Marshall and the owner of the dog, Tori, knew each other. The bulldog had been a championship show dog who was worth $5,500, according to WTVD, which reported that Marshall had expressed interest in breeding Tori with one of his dogs.Marshall stopped his truck at Tori's residence on July 3, and took her from the yard, with the dog's family later searching the nearby woods and posting flyers in an effort to locate her.
