for officer Joe Lock has raised more than $13,000 as of Thursday afternoon to help pay for medical bills and physical therapy. Lock was airlifted to the hospital and went through multiple rounds of surgery after he sustained life-threatening injuries during an incident at the BEP office in Fort Worth, at 9100 Blue Mound Road, the page said.

The documents said Lock’s right leg had to be amputated below the knee. He also sustained a fractured hip. According to the GoFundMe, Lock is a 33 year police veteran who has served in both the municipal and federal levels.Aguilar is facing a charge of assault of a federal officer. A judge recently approved a motion to have Aguilar’s competency to stand trial evaluated, documents show.
