JOHOR BARU: The Federal government’s assets have been estimated to be worth more than RM1 trillion, says Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan.
He said that the final figure is higher as the calculations are still ongoing, adding that the Accountant-General's Department and the Valuation and Property Management Department have been evaluating the assets thoroughly since 2013.
"we do not know how long more will be needed to get the final figure but it will be sped up so that we will know the total value of our assets,” he added.
