AUSTIN - The agency that decides where the nation's Southern border and jurisdiction lies gave Texas a new deadline to prove that the land they're claiming is actually state territory.
Now, the IBWC is giving Texas 30 days from the letter's submission on April 30th to prove it's state land.The USIBWC took note of this work, and writes that Texas may have trespassed to complete it. When we spoke to the Texas Land Commissioner last year, she assured us that old maps prove these islands belong to the state.
