Federal Court to hear Najib, son’s tax appeals on June 14

The Federal Court has fixed June 14 to hear Najib Tun Razak and his son Nazifuddin’s appeals against the summary judgments obtained by Inland Revenue Board to recover more than RM1.7 billion in tax arrears from them. – The Malaysian Insight file pic, March 6, 2023.

Lawyer Wee Yeong Kang, who represented Najib and Mohd Nazifuddin, said Deputy Registrar Suhaila Haron set the date during case management today. The former prime minister and his son are appealing against High Courts’ decisions in allowing IRB’s applications to enter summary judgments over the income tax arrears.
