Young people in China are increasingly seeking refuge in the countryside as job prospects dwindle in a struggling economy. Gen Z and millennials, many of whom were laid off or quit their jobs, are documenting their rural 'retirement' lives on social media.
Fed up with China 's employment situation, young people on the mainland are retreating to the countryside.
