A disturbing situation has unfolded at the Stellantis Kokomo Engine Plant in Indiana, where an unknown individual has been vandalizing bathrooms by smearing feces. This has prompted management to lock affected bathrooms and launch an investigation.

Cleaning crews at Stellantis ' Kokomo Engine Plant in Indiana are facing a deeply unsettling workplace crisis . Someone has been smearing feces on bathroom walls and leaving piles of it on the floor, along with spreading it on disability handlebars, door latches, and sink handles. This disturbing situation has forced plant management to take drastic measures, instructing cleaning staff to cease cleaning up any fecal matter found in the bathrooms.

Instead, affected bathrooms are being immediately locked and taken out of service until a thorough investigation can be conducted. In a letter addressed to all employees, R. Tyler Adams, manager of Stellantis' Wellbeing, Health & Safety division, described the appalling scenes and the potential biohazard risk posed to cleaning crews. The letter also states that alternate methods may be employed to identify the perpetrator, but offers no further details. Employees with any information about the incidents are urged to report it anonymously through a designated company email. Stellantis responded to the situation by confirming an ongoing internal investigation. While the investigation progresses, the company assures that bathrooms will continue to be regularly cleaned and sanitized, remaining accessible to employees. Those responsible for these intentional acts will face consequences.
