Timothy Klein, 31, a six-year FDNY veteran was killed battling a fire at a home in Canarsie when part of the building collapsed, according to officials.
An FDNY firefighter and a civilian have died and several other people were injured in a three-alarm fire at a home inAt a press conference on Sunday, Mayor Eric Adams and FDNY officials identified Timothy Klein, 31, of Ladder Company 170 as the firefighter who had died in the line of duty.
Klein was a six-year veteran of the FDNY.
