“Joe Biden was locked & loaded ready to take me out & put my family in danger," is how a fundraising email put it shortly after new documents related to the trial revealed the FBI was authorized to use deadly force if necessary in the August 2022 raid on his Florida residence. "Listen, if they were looking for a serial killer who they thought was hiding there, maybe it’s a little different. But they were looking for a box of documents," said Trump surrogate and former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi on Fox News.
Trump was not present at Mar-A-Lago when the raid happened in August of 2022. It uncovered classified material that Trump allegedly took from the White House. The newly unsealed findings also unearthed new pictures and revealed more classified documents were discovered months after the raid.because of mounting disagreements on how the classified information is used in court. The former President’s critics had been hopeful he'd have another pre-election day case to deal with.
