Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan has reportedly had his phone and personal property seized by FBI agents in New York, spurring allegations that it was politically motivated.
The FBI reportedly raided the Manhattan home of Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan early Wednesday morning after the election betting platform correctly predicted Donald Trump's victory in the 2024 presidential race last week. A spokesperson for Polymarket called it "obvious political retribution by the outgoing administration against Polymarket for providing a market that correctly called the 2024 presidential election.

Coplan himself suggested that the investigation might be politically motivated.
