The FBI has released nearly 500 pages of records on O.J. Simpson following his death two months ago.

Simpson maintained he was innocent and was ultimately acquitted in a high-profile criminal trial, but he was later found liable for their deaths in a civil trial and ordered to pay $33 million to their families.A large portion of the pages goes into how the FBI tried to track the purchase of Bruno Magli-style size 12 shoes, a key piece of evidence in Simpson's trial.
The records include notes on the shoes, photos and details of how the FBI sought to connect Simpson to a purchase by contacting numerous stores that sold Bruno Magli shoes. "AGENTS SHOULD ADVISE THE APPROPRIATE STORE PERSONNEL THAT THIS MATTER CONCERNS CAPTIONED INVESTIGATION AND ASK IF THE STORE HAS ANY RECORDS OR RECOLLECTION THAT O J SIMPSON SHOPPED THERE," reads one page stamped with a date of June 12, 1995.
