The FBI is investigating, people familiar said, after videos showed vehicles bearing pro-Trump signs amassing around a Biden campaign bus in Texas, where some pollsters predict one of the closest races for a Democratic presidential contender in decades
The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking into allegations that Trump supporters endangered a Biden campaign bus on a Texas highway Saturday, according to people familiar with the matter.
Campaign staff members and Democratic candidate Wendy Davis, who is running for the U.S. House seat for Texas' 21st district, became concerned for their safety after the vehicles surrounded their bus and forced it to slow down and veer out of its lane, according to Tariq Thowfeek, the communications director for the Biden campaign in Texas.
