Seeing as the show is set in Europe, with its headquarters in Budapest, Hungary, Tyler will appear on the show as a traveling agent seeking help on a case he is working on.
Hayden will join FBI: International after appearing as a series regular on Station 19 for seven seasons. His new role as Tyler in FBI: International will be significantly different from his character in the Grey's Anatomy spinoff, where he played Travis Montgomery, an emotionally-reserved firefighter. Despite the differences between the characters, both characters will feature in intense and dramatic shows, showing off Hayden's ability to adapt to different roles in similar series.
