Wray told bureau employees on Wednesday he would be stepping down "after weeks of careful thought," reported the Associated Press., a close ally and former national security aide who has criticized the Justice Department and the media, to replace Wray.
The incoming president slammed Biden during that interview saying, "I don't want to be Joe Biden and give you an answer and then do the exact opposite. "
