The NIADID director said he's 'very concerned' about the rise of Covid-19 in the U.S.
In a Tuesday hearing with the Senate Help Committee on the state of the coronavirus, Dr. Anthony Fauci said he is “very concerned” about rise in coronavirus cases across the U.S. as the nation sees 40,000 new cases per day.“The numbers speak for themselves,” said Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Disease. “We’re going in the wrong direction.”
He pointed to large gatherings of people without masks as particular points of concern in his Congressional testimony, emphasizing that congregating at indoor bars is “bad news.”
