A 30-year-old man has been arrested for the fatal shooting of his four-year-old son on Christmas Eve in Rosedale, Maryland. Two other victims, a woman and a juvenile, were also shot but survived.
Baltimore County detectives have arrested 30-year-old Mark Jones in connection to the fatal shooting of his child, four-year-old Jacobi Jones, and the non-fatal shooting of two other victims. At approximately 6:35 a.m. on Christmas Eve , officers went to the unit block of Breslin Court in Rosedale for reports of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers said they found a woman along with two juveniles suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body.
Officials said medics transported the three victims to a hospital where four-year-old Jacobi was pronounced dead. 'We recognize that this time of year can be difficult for some people, so we do recommend if anyone is experiencing any depression or any problems this time of year, feel free to call 988, or if you see something brewing, or feel like something is brewing in your home, please contact your local police department and we'll be glad to respond out to assist,' Baltimore County Police Chief Robert McCullough said in a news conference on Tuesda
