Palmyra, N.Y.— A father and his son are facing charges after a fight with deputies at the Wayne County Fairgrounds Thursday night.

Dominic Affronti, 23, of Hyde Parkway, was allegedly ordered to leave the venue around 10:15 p.m. following a fight. He's accused of reentering the fairgrounds and getting into another fight with Wayne County deputies, hurting two of them before he was arrested. Dominic's father, William Affronti, 62, of Palmyra, is accused of shoving a deputy while he was being escorted off the property. He also allegedly tried to intervene while his son was being arrested.
Dominic is charged with third-degree assault, criminal trespass, resisting arrest and obstructing governmental administration. He was released with an appearance ticket and ordered to return to court at a later date, according to the Wayne County Sheriff's Office. William is charged with resisting arrest and obstruction g governmental administration. He was also released with an appearance and given a date to return to court.
