San Antonio police are investigating a homicide after a suspect called the authorities and claimed to have 'just murdered his significant other,' an overnight police report states. The incident occurred at approximately 5 a.m. Saturday at a residence in the 100 block of Felisa Street on the South Side , police say. Officers located the victim, an 81-year-old white male, inside the location 'with an apparent fatal laceration by a cutting instrument.

Police still did not know what led to the incident as of late Saturday morning. The case is under investigation by the San Antonio Police Department's homicide division. 'Through the course of the investigation, the suspect was arrested and booked for murder,' SAPD told the San Antonio Express-News. As of 11 a.m.
