The Florida Highway Patrol is at the scene of a fatal crash on State Road 16 that has left at least one person dead.
ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla — The Florida Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a fatal head-on collision on State Road 16 and San Giacomo that left two dead.Reports state that Saturday morning, at approximately 8:53 a.m. a head on collision occurred as a Sedan traveling east on State Road 16 veered into oncoming traffic.
The driver of the Sedan and the passenger of an SUV have both died as a result. The driver has been identified as a 20-year-old man, and the passenger has been identified as a 60-year-old woman.Fatal Crash on SR-16 and San Giacomo Rd
