A 19-year-old motorcyclist died after being involved in a crash in north Seattle Thursday evening.

Police said at 4:47 p.m., officers responded to a crash involving a motorcycle and vehicle that occurred in the 13700 block of Aurora Avenue North. When Seattle fire arrived at the scene, they provided medical aid to the injured motorcyclist, according to officials. However, despite their lifesaving measures, the 19-year-old man was eventually pronounced dead at the scene, police said.the driver and passenger of the other vehicle were both in their 70s, and firefighters treated the passenger for minor injuries before sending her to Harborview Medical Center in "stable condition.
Seattle police said this is an open and ongoing investigation, and if anyone has information regarding the incident, to please the Traffic Collision Investigations Squad at 206-684-8923.
