Banners on the fence surrounding the construction site say “New Box Coming Soon!”the location will open sometime in June, and the restaurant website Gastronomic SLC reported that job listings have already been posted.

Fox 13 reported another Jack in the Box location is in the works in Layton; the Ogden Standard-Examiner, , said the location is at the northeast corner of Antelope Drive and Main Street. The Layton restaurant, which will include a drive-thru, is slated for a 2023 opening.The Standard-Examiner also reported another Jack in the Box location being planned at Harrison Boulevard and 4800 South in Ogden, near the Weber State University campus.the Herald-Journal reported in FebruaryAlso, Fox 13 reported a real-estate company is working on Jack in the Box locations in Saratoga Springs and South Jordan.

Jack in the Box is primarily known as a burger restaurant, though it’s also known for chicken, and “tiny tacos.” It’s also known for its breakfasts, including its breakfast burrito, and a late-night menu featuring something called “Jack’s Munchie Meal.”• Both Fox 13 and Gastronomic SLC are partners in content-sharing agreements with The Salt Lake Tribune.
