Ever since lockdown took hold, the world has found more and more ways to take culture online – with varying degrees of success. Fashion photographer Tyler Mitchell’s Night at the Cinema, on the other hand, makes us wonder why we’ve never held virtual festivals before.
The first iteration of Mitchell’s “movie and video night” on 3 April saw the Beyoncé collaborator livestream his computer screen for a full 24 hours – a digital adaptation of a programme he had in mind for the International Centre of Photography.
