Fans worried as Jeremy Clarkson reveals Richard Hammond accident in Grand Tour filming
Fans were concerned after Jeremy Clarkson revealed accident prone Richard Hammond had fallen over as he filmed the latest series of The Grand Tour. Hammond, 53, who is known as ‘The Hamster’, has had a series of high profile mishaps while filming the motoring show - and its previous incarnation Top Gear.
In 2005 Hammond crashed a jet-powered dragster called Vampire at nearly 320mph while filming for Top Gear at the former RAF Elvington airbase near York. He recovered and returned to the show in early 2007. Eleven years later, in 2017, Hammond crashed a Rimac Concept One at a hill-climb in Switzerland, rolling the car several times and fracturing his knee.Fans reacted to his latest incident.
