Sydney's train networks are set to be put to the test on Sunday night with about 80,000 rugby league fans expected to converge on Sydney Olympic Park for NRL Grand Final Day.

Gates open at 1pm before the State Championship Grand Final at 1.20, while the NRLW Grand Final kicks off featuring the Sydney Roosters and Cronulla Sharks at 3.55pm. With an almost sell-out crowd anticipated, Transport for NSW has urged fans heading to the game to avoid driving and to take public transport instead.
“Don’t forget that travel on all modes of public transport is included in your ticket to the final – you just need to show your ticket to transport staff when getting on board.”
