The singer-songwriter mentions 'change' and 'evolution.'
On Sunday, August 11, Cyrus posted a photo of herself standing atop a mountain, seemingly from herin Italy with Kaitlynn Carter. “Don’t fight evolution, because you will never win,” reads the caption. “Like the mountain I am standing on top of, which was once under water, connected with Africa, change is inevitable.”
The singer-songwriter went on to cite a life lesson that she learned from her father: “Nature never hurries but it is always on time,” adding: “It fills my heart with peace and hope KNOWING that is true. I was taught to respect the planet and its process and I am committed to doing the same with my own.”
While her post didn't specifically mention Hemsworth, it’s hard to ignore the themes of “evolution,” “change,” and “process” in light of their recent split. Cyrus’s rep confirmed their separation to: “Liam and Miley have agreed to separate at this time. Ever-evolving, changing as partners and individuals, they have decided this is what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers.
