Waiting in the Ticketek lounge for Olivia Rodrigo ... it’s a good idea, right? Some fans are not so sure after claiming they have been kicked off the site with “Access Denied” messages. Sale for Sydney and Melbourne tickets to Rodrigo’s Guts tour, which is coming to Australia in October 2024, went on sale at 1pm and chaos was quick to erupt. Fans online reported that they experienced a similar problem during the pre-sale on Wednesday. “It was also trending the other day during the pre-sale too.
“I would prefer being told I’m 1,000,000 in the queue on a Ticketmaster page than sit and look at a mind-numbing screen showing a Ticketek logo with a pinch of access denied I’m so serious,” a second said. “Access Denied? LET ME INNN,” added a third. Ticketek responded to one fan who tweeted: “It’s coming up with Access denied for me, fix your site ffs.” A spokesperson online responded: “Please remember to only use one Ticketek browser when purchasing tickets.
