Fans flock to Hong Kong to mark 50th anniversary of Bruce Lee’s death FMTNews FMTLifestyle
HONG KONG: Fans from Hong Kong and around the world gathered at the feet of a Bruce Lee statue today to pay tribute to the late kung-fu legend on the 50th anniversary of his untimely death.
Those who travelled to Hong Kong for the anniversary included people from mainland China, Asia and Europe. Lee, who was born in San Francisco but raised in Hong Kong, passed away at age 32 on July 20, 1973 from a brain swelling, just days before the release of his global blockbuster movie “Enter the Dragon”.
