Government-controlled mortgage financier Fannie Mae has filed a lawsuit against real estate companies affiliated with notorious Philadelphia landlord Philip Pulley, alleging they defaulted on seven mortgages totaling $59 million. The lawsuit comes as Pulley is expected to plead guilty to federal voter fraud charges.

The lawsuit claims that the Pulley-affiliated real estate companies owe $59 million on loans that range from just over $6 million to nearly $14 million.
