An unofficial fan remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time using Unreal Engine 5 has gone viral, showcasing stunning 4K visuals and faithful gameplay. While fans await an official Nintendo remake, this project offers a breathtaking next-gen vision.

Since its release back in 1998, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time has cemented itself as one of the greatest video games of all time, which makes it all the more frustrating that it is still yet to welcome an official remake or remaster.

Yes, it may have received an enhanced version back in 2011 with the launch of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time HD for the Nintendo 3DS, but it has still yet to receive a modern-day, next-gen remake, much to fan's dismay. The good news is that multiple insiders have claimed that Nintendo is mere months away from announcing the long-awaited Ocarina of Time remake, with many expecting it to follow the news of the Star Fox revival.

However, in the meantime, creators have been giving us just a glimpse of what a potential next-gen version of Ocarina of Time could look like, and with the use of Unreal Engine 5, the results are breathtaking. This comes courtesy of CryZENx, who has taken to YouTube to share a fan-made Ocarina of Time remake, showcasing the iconic Lord Jabu-Jabu boss fight in 4K. Consisting of over 20-minutes of gameplay, it is clear to see that the new-and-improved OoT looks quite different from its 1998 version, and luckily, the video includes a download link for those who want to try it out for themselves.

CryZENx is no stranger to sharing clips of this unofficial The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time remake, but this latest video, that has already garnered over 40,000 views, has captured the hearts and minds of its viewers.

"Absolute piece of art," the top comment reads,"from the atmosphere to the lighting, you absolutely nailed the artstyle. Really loved the dark, intimidating vibe as you progressed through Jabu Jabu's Belly until you faced Barrinade. The boss fight felt intense and heavy! And also the small details you always come up with and implement them into the scenery are remarkable.

" Another fan praised Link's redesign, saying,"Normally, when I see an Unreal Engine Ocarina of Time remake, the way Link walks is always so off, like there’s no weight to it. This doesn’t have that, it actually feels the same as the original game. Fantastic work.

" With the project still in development, it is clear to see that, if Nintendo does not give us the goods later this year, this unofficial fan-made remaster of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time will definitely be the next best thing. With praise for the lighting, fear on Link's face, nods to the original, and the music during the boss fight, it seems as though this unofficial remake is ticking all the boxes, and best yet, it will be absolutely free to try out for yourself.

Audi Unveils £500,000 Nuvolari Super Car with 986bhp V8 EngineAudi Unveils £500,000 Nuvolari Super Car with 986bhp V8 EngineAudi has unveiled a new £500,000 supercar, the Nuvolari, which is powered by a 788bhp twin-turbocharged V8 engine and three electric motors. The combined power output is 986bhp, making it one of the most powerful production cars in the world. The Nuvolari is a limited-run hybrid beast with a svelte design and dramatic styling, and it is the first Audi to follow the brand's new 'Concept C' design language. The car has a carbon exterior, which enables it to achieve a 217mph top speed, and it features a retractable wing and V8-cooling vents, openings and movable aero parts that are all inspired by Formula 1. The Nuvolari is also the first use of Audi's new trademark Titanium colour. The car has five drive settings, including an 'E-Hybrid' all-electric mode and a 'Track' mode that enables adjustment of traction control to suit driving style and available grip. The interior is minimal and divided into two tone zones, with a purposely 'reduced architecture' to allow the driver to focus on the road. The car's powertrain, construction and aerodynamics have all been filtered down from the company's new F1 project, and it is a nod to the legendary Auto Union Type C race car and the record-breaking motorsport era of the 1930s.

A “Green” Dual-Mode Engine is About to Give CubeSats the Best of Both WorldsA “Green” Dual-Mode Engine is About to Give CubeSats the Best of Both WorldsRocket scientists have always faced a trade-off in propulsion technologies. Chemical rockets can provide lots of oomph, but burn through fuel so quickly they can only do so for a few minutes. Electric propulsion, on the other hand, can run for days, but the pushing power they provide is miniscule compared to their chemical cousins.
