The 'top secret' script was discovered on a tour of the soap's set
Fans of the soap were able to take a closer look at the set last month, including the Dales residents' houses, for £35. Ticket holders were told they could use the bins as normal because they were not props, however, after putting his water bottle in the rubbish, one fan claimed he found a "top secret" script.
The Sun claims it has agreed with ITV not to reveal any more details about the script - which reportedly belonged to a staff member - in order not to spoil things for the soap's legion of loyal viewers. The outlet said an ITV spokesperson added: "We do take security very seriously as we know our audience don’t like knowing plotlines in advance. We will try to get to the bottom of how these scripts went missing.
