'It's barbaric what's happened and treatment that they have been through'
The family of a man involved in the incident at Manchester Airport which saw an armed police officer kick and stamp on the head of a man are feeling 'traumatised', according to their solicitor.
Speaking in Rochdale, Akhmed Yakoob, who is a solicitor representing the family of a man involved in the altercation, told Al Jazeera about the incident. He revealed that one member of the family is a serving GMP but is not going into work now because 'he is afraid'.Mr Yakoob said: "Right now the main concern is for their health and they are very traumatised by this experience.
"It's barbaric what's happened and treatment that they have been through. The public is in fear now of the police and it shouldn't be like that.
