Those who died are Leslie James, 68, Patricia Ann Garrett Bailey, 68, Jaqueline Golden, 73, and Richard Stanley Skinner Sr., 74.
Authorities are asking for the public’s help in finding family members for four people who died recently in Jefferson County.
Authorities said James, who they described as homeless, was discovered on a business property by employees. It is believed he was using the business as a temporary overnight shelter.James listed past addresses in Gadsden and Birmingham but is believed to be from Birmingham where he has lived for several years. He had no family or emergency contacts listed in multiple local governmental databases.Bailey was found dead Dec.
Those who have known Bailey report no knowledge of family. She reportedly worked at St. Vincent’s Hospital in the early-mid 2000′s, and listed past addresses in Kennesaw and Marietta, Georgia and in Akron, Ohio.Yates said the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office made the discovery when a concerned neighbor asked them to check on her.A concerned neighbor discovered Skinner during a welfare check.
